Day 653 – Play structure complete, electrical nearly done
April 9, 2012 – Just in time for the very Spring-like weather we’ve been having, our play structure is up for our children. A slide, swing and rock climbing wall has kept them very busy. It fits very nicely behind the garage too, without owning too much of the yard.
The electrical is nearly done as well. We’ve gotten both of the bath fans installed, and connected to ducting. The fans are a very cool Broan model QTXE110SFLT that we use in our current bathroom, and feature a humidity sensing on/off feature. When the humidity rises, the fan turns on. After a preset period, it turns off. No forgetting to turn the fan on or off! It mounts on a rail system that allows some freedom in placement. Due to the oddities of the upstairs bath and the pitch of the roof, we had to mount the fan transverse to the space to allow the ducting to run without to0 many bends.
Hopefully we’ll be getting the electrical wrapped up this week.
